Understanding Grammar

Languages are similar in either origin or structure. It’s so obvious that anyone from all walks of life pick a certain amount of words or phrases to use depends on what they want or not.

What could be the reasons why Grammar is such a daunty task to deal with? Let’s grind some bits and pieces of why it seems to be as hard as rock understanding grammar.

Rules are overly critical. When to use and when not to use it is like a canned of worms that you wish in the first place should not be opened. The intricacy of its rule and structure makes a learner experience a roller coaster drama. You wanted to be perfect, error- free but that is next to impossible. The rule of punctuation for instance, a period means full stop, well, almost all the speaker vaguely knows when not to stop.

There are so many exceptions, especially pronunciation. Ironically, rules were established for consistency. However, grammar does not follow sometimes, particularly the spoken English. The main point is to be fluent, if mastery is not achieved.

People do not use Grammar all the time, it’s a fact. Let’s face it! we do not want to be corrected. Majority, is either intimidated or basically not completely aware of the rules. The nudging sense of a grammar police will absolutely de-railed someone’s train of thoughts.

Now, what is your verdict? Have you change your heart that grammar is a whole challenged? what rules are you always crippled with? If none of these bothers you, what is your ultimate secret?
